David Franklin is an award-winning video / graphic / performance artist with over 20 years' experience in media, including live national television, film, instructional, documentary, and music videos. He has a proven track record of creativity, hands-on technical skills, and leadership ability, ranging from supervising TV and film crews to teaching a martial arts workshop on a remote island. He has co-founded an experimental art center, a wellness services company, and a nonprofit cultural organization. He has worked as a chef at an Italian restaurant, an office manager at a nonprofit medical clinic for people with HIV, a media consultant and producer at a human rights organization, and a lecturer at a university. As a 4-th level instructor of Shintaido (a Japanese health exercise), he has traveled around the world teaching movement arts workshops. A native English speaker, David speaks Mandarin Chinese and Czech fluently and Spanish at intermediate level. In 2015 he completed a master's degree in digital culture and communication.
