In 2004, a small group of people chose to spend 6 days on Ram Island, a tiny rock in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine with no facilities or trace of human occupation. Their purpose was to immerse themselves in the practice of Shintaido, a modern Japanese movement discipline with David Franklin, and Extended Voice training with Anne Harley.
